  Yesterday I went in for a general examination and dental cleaning. Everything went well the dentist said all was good and recommended a deep cleaning and possible removing a old crown and replacing with a new one at a later time. Then the office assistant came in to tell me the cost for deep cleaning and crown replacement. I requested only a regular cleaning she responded that if I did not have the general cleaning at approx. $400.00 I could not do a deep cleaning for 6 months. That was okay with me, I would be back in six months. Then the office manager came in and told me that if I did not have the deep cleaning I might have a heart attack and I already show bone loss. This was very strange because I am in good health and the dentist did not ever mention bone loss or heart attack! I again requested only a cleaning, I was told straight forward if I did not have the deep cleaning at $400.00 they refuse to provide any service! Their scar tactics did not work! They left me thinking how many people have they been scamming? Beware you may have been scammed for unnecessary dental work.
